About Us | Executive Caddie

The Executive Caddie is the brainchild of James Browning and was originally released in 1989 as a DOS-based application written in C language. There was a Windows-based version released in 1995 that featured multiple improvements. The Caddie has been consistently improved over the past years and the most recent release was launched in 2009.

James Browning is the Chief Programmer and Application Architect of the Executive Caddie. He is responsible for the entire application design, architecture, and supporting infrastructure. Since 2004, he has devoted over 8000 hours to coding and application improvements.

In addition to being an accomplished programmer, Mr. Browning is a third-generation professional golfer. His father, Joe Browning, has been a Class-A PGA Pro for over 30 years. His grandfather, Jim Browning, was a Class-A PGA Pro for over 50 years and is an inductee into the New England PGA Hall of Fame and the Maine Sports Hall of Fame.
